Today we benefited from very favourable weather conditions and completed a tour of the
the island in brilliant sunshine. From Broadford we drove up to Portree for a coffee
and shopping stop.
Then on to Kilt Rock and Lilt Falls with views of the Old Man of Storr.

Next we drove across the northern tip of Skye stopping for pics at Quaraing which affords stunning views across the Skye landscape.

Then down to Dunvegan, home of the chief of Clan McCloud. This is a fascinating castle with superb garden.
We availed of a short boat trip to view common seals sunning themselves
on the rocks which proved one of the day’s
highlights.

Finally we drove back via the west coast visiting an ancient iron-age Broch en-route.

The day finished with dinner at the Claymore Restaurant at Broadford.
