Renfrew Old Church

This afternoon, my theme is Renfrew, a large town about five miles from Glasgow with a history dating back at least to the 11th century, possibly much earlier. The founders of theĀ  Stewart Royal line originated from here. Like the rest of the Glasgow conurbation, the area was engaged in shipbuilding and was the location of Glasgow Airport until 1966.
