Renfrew Old Parish Church

This afternoon, I am posting information on a famous Scottish church, namely Renfrew Old Parish Church (nera Glasgow) which has two main clains to fame:

  1. Queen Victoria worshipped during her visits to Lord Blythswood.
  2. The church has a famous slender steeple.

This church has recently been subject of media attention following the award of GBP260,000 to cover urgent repairs to the steeple.

The churchyard is very well maintained and contains some interesting old burials dating back to the early 19th century.
