This evening, my tour group is overnighting at a Guest House at Portree on the Isle of Skye, one of Scotland’s most popular tourist regions.

We commenced our day at Dunkeld in central Scotland in warm sunshine. First we stopped at nearby Ossian’s Hall which entails a number of experiences. Here we walked along a trail on the banks of the River Braan, Scotland’s shortest river, passing though some heavily wooded areas until we reached Ossian’s Hall ( like a small house) which leads to a stunning view of the waterfall. As river levels are low the Falls of Braan were subdued but, nevertheless, a worthwhile experience.
