Today, June 7th., we departed our Edinburgh lodgings at about 0915 and headed across the Forth Bridge to track the Fife Coast. We visited:
St Monan’s with its famous church.

Lower Largo, where Alexander Selkirk was born. His experiences proved the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe.
Anstruther, where we availed of an early lunch at the famous Anstruther Fish Bar (fish and chips).

Crail, with its quaint and colourful harbour where lobsters appears to be the main activity.

Finally we finished at St. Andrews which offers the visitor:
- Famous Old Course and associated golfing activities.

East Sands
-The extensive University campus which has a history dating back about 600 years.
-Ruined, but still impressive Cathedral.
-Ruined 12th C castle.

-Interesting and vibrant town centre.
We departed St. Andrews late afternoon and headed for our final destination of Dunkeld which we reached about 5.45pm.
Weather proved reasonably clement. Warm and just a spot of rain.
