This evening, my theme is the wildlife of Scotland’s Isle of Skye.¬† On this island can be found a diversity of wildlife including eagles, otter, fox, rabbit, porpoise, common seal, fulmars, terns, cormorants, shags, gannets, oyster-catchers, corncrake, ptarmigan, manx shearwater and raptors including:

  • Golden Eagle
  • White Tailed Sea Eagle
  • Buzzard
  • Merlin
  • Peregrine Falcon
  • Hen Harrier

Seals at Dunvegan

It would be great to spend a week or so on the island just focused on photographing the extensive wildlife.

Elsewhere today, I have working on a self-drive tour of Scotland  for a Canadian lady and helping some visitors from the U.S.with day tours from cruise ships. Posted information on Hart family history to my separate Glasgow Ancestry blog

Weather in Glasgow has been mixed with some rain this afternoon, after which I went out for exercise on my bike. Will try to keep this ( exercise) up for the next few days.
