This evening, I attended the local ramblers club Christmas party at the Eglinton Arms Hotel, Eaglesham, south of Glasgow. Eaglesham is a heritage/conservation village with a long history. For an overview and more information please refer my earlier post of Oct 13th 2010
En-route to the hotel I could not miss this photo opportunity. This parish church dates from 1788. Very impressive when floodlit at night.
