Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art

Christmas Lights at Gallery of Modern Art

This evening, I decided to venture down into Glasgow to obtain some seasonal images with benefit if the Christmas lights, etc.

Weather here today has been relatively benign, especially by comparison with other parts of the U.K. many of which have suffered heavy snow. This is shaping to be the the fiercest December spell since records began in 1910.

The combination of clear skies and low temperatures assisted with the photography albeit ice underfoot was treacherous.

The results of my little expedition are provided above and below. My favourites are the Gallery of Modern Art and the river scene all of which were aided by my new wide angle lens. For more information on the Gallery of Modern Art please visit my blog post of December 10th.

In course of my trip picked up information on upcoming local events which may well feature in future blog posts.

Upon return home was pleased to receive confirmation of  a private tour for two persons in 2011.

Another very cold night looming.
