Spring Colours at Greenbank

Spring Colours at Greenbank Garden, Scotland

This morning, prompted by a warm Spring morning, I decided to pop round to Greenbank Garden at historic Greenbank House, south of Glasgow. This garden has a high standing in horticultural circles with a particular emphasis on daffodils and other bulbs. In might be a week or so until the daffodils reach their peak but in the meantime I was rewarded with a rich spread of colours from various varities of bulb which were in bloom. As will be evident from the images presented here, the diverse spread of colours includes various shades of blue, violet, brilliant white, orange and yellow. I look forward to returning in a week or so to photograph the daffodils.

By timely coincidence, upon return to base I received an enquiry for a Glasgow centric gardens tour for later in the year. Read more on Garden in Spring Time…
