 This evening, I am focusing on Craithie Kirk (Church) which is located in the Scottish Highlands close to the Royal Castle at Balmoral. This area falls within the Cairngorms National Park and the highest and most remote part of Scotland.

Chanonry Point, Moray Firth

Chanonry Point, Moray Firth, Scotland

This evening, I am focusing on Chanonry Point, a mile long spit of land which protudes into the Moray Firth just north of Inverness  and directly opposite Fort George. There is some pleasant scenery here but the spot has become very popular due to gathering of dolphins who harvest fish when the tide conditions are right. In the Moray firth there are estimated to be about 130 dolphins.

This evening, I am focusing on Scapa Distillery, Orkney, Scotland. To an extent the above title is inaccurate because there is no visitor centre centre or tours at Scapa. Most whisky aficionados on Orkney tour the nearby, and possibly more famous, Highland Park Distillery.
