This evening, I dipped into Glasgow’s rich cultural and entertainment scene by attending a performance of ‘Spamalot’ at the King’s Theatre. This is a superb musical based on the film ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’ in turn the product of Messrs Chapman, Cleese, Gilliam, Idle, Jone and Palin. Essentially, Spamalot is a humorous take on the storey of the legendary King Arthur. A very good show fully deserving its popularity with the theatre going public.
Glasgow is well endowed with theatres the more prominent of which are: the Citizens, King’s, Theatre Royal, Pavilion, Ramshorn, Tramway and Tron
Tomorrow, I have to arrange some evening entertainment in Glasgow for a group of high end visitors on a golfing trip.
