St Kessog's Cross, Luss

St Kessog's Cross, Luss, Loch Lomond

This morning, I collected tour arriving at Glasgow Airport 7.00am and then embarked on a short tour to Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond.
Luss is a popular stop for visitors comprising quaint cottages, access to the shore of Loch Lomond and an interesting church built on a Christian site dating back about 1500 years. Weather was very favourable.
Our visit coincided with arrival and departure of the Olympic Flame as it winds its way around Scotland. Many hundreds of people lined the route.
Unfortunately, Luss Church was not open to visitors today. However, we spent a pleasant couple of hours enjoying the village before returning to Glasgow.
