This afternoon, I collected tour guests from Edinburgh airport and then embarked on a tour of the Fife Coast. Weather was very favourable with warm sunshine.

After¬†passing over the Forth Road Bridge¬†we called into Lower Largo, a small seaside village where Alexander Selkirk, the ‘real world’ role model for Robinson Crusoe was born.

Next to St. Monans, another seaside village known for its historic church overlooking the sea.

Next to the picturesque harbour of Crail. Once a very busy fishing port but now popular with artists. Famous for its lobsters.

Final stop along the Fife Coast was the university town of St. Andrews. Here we spent time visiting the ruined Cathedral, viewed the castle from the footpath and then went on to the St. Andrews Links to visit the famous Old Course.
