Clyde Auditorium or ‘Armadillo’, Glasgow, Scotland

Earlier today, I took advantage of relatively mild and sunny weather to cycle down into central Glasgow for the purpose of photographing the architecture and heritage structures on and around the River Clyde. Historically, the area covered by the images was heavy industrial with shipbuilding and port activities. However, this has now been transformed and features a wide spectrum of dynamic architecture and engineering coupled with retained legacy of historic structures such as the Finnieston Crane. Access can be obtained via riverside walkways and cycle paths which assist enjoyment of the area.
