Spring Crocus at Greenbank Garden, Glasgow, Scotland

This evening, I am posting more images of colourful Spring flowers taken at Greenbank Garden, Glasgow, Scotland. This garden has changed little since it was established in the 17th century. The property is owned by Scotland’s National Trust with the garden open to the public throughout the year, thus there is always something to appreciate.

When I visited yesterday I was hoping to obtain images of some of the 350 varieties of daffodil for which the garden is famous. Unfortunately, the cold spell in March has stunted the growth of these Spring bellwethers. However, there was compensation in the greenhouse where I was able to photograph a wide variety of colourful Spring flowers such as Fuschia and Pelargonium. I also managed to capture some outdoor blooms.
