This morning we collected guests from Edinburgh Airport and progressed on a tour as follows:

First to Luss and Loch Lomond. Unfortunately, our arrival at Loch Lomond coincided with a heavy rainstorm forcing us to pass up on the sightseeing.

Next, we continued north through increasingly mountainous scenery across Rannoch Moor to Glencoe. We stopped for lunch at Glencoe Visitor Centre.

Next. we continued north, tracking the western edge of Loch Linnhe to Fort William. Here, the group joined the 2.30pm Jacobite Express departure for Mallaig. This is a¬†steam train also known as the ‘Harry Potter Train’.

We re-connected with group at Mallaig and then drove a few miles to overnight lodgings at Arisaig, a pleasant village on edge of the sea. Tomorrow, we travel to Isle of Skye.
