
Loch Ewe, Scotland
 This evening, I am posting information on Loch Ewe, which is located in the region of Wester Ross in Scotland’s N.W.Highlands. Summary information as follows:
- A Sea Loch fed from thirteen local lochs via the River Ewe, Scotland’s shortest river.
- Principal community in the area is the village of Poolewe, about 155 miles N.W.of Edinburgh.
- Main visitor attraction in the area is Inverewe Garden.
- The area surrounding Loch Ewe is acknowledged for its scenic beauty.
- Historically, the Gaelic language has been well stablished in the area,spoken by local crofters ( farmers).
- In WW2, Loch Ewe was an assembly area for arctic convoys.
