Farmers Market, Glasgow

This morning proved somewhat wet, windy and dull in Glasgow notwithstanding which I ventured out to visit a pre-Christmas Farmers Market in Queen’s Park, Glasgow.

At the market I encountered a wide range of food and other products on offer including:

  • Organic vegetables.
  • French food.
  • Fish and seafood.
  • Speciality soap.
  • Beef and meat products.
  • Cheese from Isle of Arran and elsewhere.
  • Craft beer from Eden Brewery near St. Andrews.
  • Food from the Indian sub-continent.

In addition to the products above, visitors were entertained to rendition of Christmas carols by local choir, Govanhill Voices.
