Glassblowing at Bath, England

This evening, I am posting images and information on the Bath aqua Theatre of Glass in Walcot Street, Bath, England.

This craft operation was inspired by designs from the Roman and Georgian eras. Bath was an important Roman city named Aquae Sulis.

The particular type of glass known as ‘Bath Aqua’ is made by adding copper oxide to molten glass which results in a aquamarine colour.

At this particular craft site visitors can view the process and participate in the glassblowing.

There is an on-site shop selling glass wares.
