Next, north to Dunvegan where we availed of lunch, at the Castle Visitor Centre.

Next, we continued towards Uig but first visiting Fairy Glen, a unique landscape phenomenon comprising small conical hills and ponds. Here, we were ‘attacked’ by a friendly bunch of young Collie puppies.

Next, into Uig for shopping.

After Uig we cut across the top of the island, along a single track road, to the Quiraing but views were hampered  by low cloud and poor visibility.

Next, down the east coast calling in at Kilt Rock, where visibility was poor due to cloud and mist.

We continued towards Portree and encountered a large flock of Teviot sheep being driven along the road.

Next, we were able to view the Old Man of Storr, a geological feature on the landscape as visibility had improved.
