Llangollen, Wales

This evening, I am posting information on Llangollen,a town in Denbighshire, N.E.Wales close to the border with England.

Llangollen s captured within a UNESCO World Heritage Site which includes the nearby Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

The town is popular with tourists and accordingly there is a wide variety of hotels,, lodgings, B&Bs, etc to accommodate them.

  • Population 3400
  • Located on banks of River Dee in turn on the edge of the Berwyn Mountains.
  • Visitors can enjoy a trip on a steam train and horse-drawn canal boat.
