This morning, we departed our lodgings in Grantown-on-Spey and then proceeded south with key features of tour as follows:

  • Temperature in range 2 to 9 degrees centigrade.
  • Weather comprising a mix of snow, sleet, rain and sunny periods.
  • A range of farm animals including horses, cattle and sheep with lambs.
  • Two ski centres.
  • Two castles: Corgarff and Braemar
  • Stop for break at village of Braemar.
  • Watching a shepherd working his flock with aid of his Collie, sheep-dog.
  • Lunch at St. Andrews Links.
  • Visit to famous Old Course at St Andrews.
  • Fife Coast fishing villages of Crail, Anstruther and Lower Largo.

Tonight, we are in the historic town of Dunfermline. Tomorrow, we visit Edinburgh.
