Visiting dignataries at Stirling Castle

This morning, we departed our Inverness lodgings and drove south through Highland scenery and past Ruthven Barracks, Dalwhinnie Distillery and Blair Castle to our first destination of Killiecrankie which is a scenic gorge and site of a battle in 1689 where the Jacobites defeated Government forces under General High Mackay.
