Tour Guests in Great Hall at Stirling Castle, Scotland

This morning, we departed Glasgow’s West End and drove N.E. for about 1 hour to our first stop of Stirling Castle.This castle has a long history dating back to the 12th century but is perhaps best known for its role as a residence for the Stewart dynasty during the 16th century, especially kingship of James V and childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots.
