Tour Guests at Swilken Bridge, St Andrews, Scotland

This morning, we departed our lodgings in Stirling, central Scotland and drove east for about 90 minutes, through Tillicoultry,Dollar, Auchtermuchty and Cupar to our first destination of St Andrews. This trip was undertaken in unseasonal mild, dry weather with blue sky and sunshine. To the North was a line of hills known as the Ochills. The landscape was mainly flat and agricultural being used for sheep and barley growing.

On arrival at St Andrews we stopped first at St Andrews Links Clubhouse where we viewed the Old Course and others including New and Jubilee courses from the restaurant over morning refreshment. We also went up on to the Roof Garden which afforded even better views. We then drove round for a photo session at Swilken Bridge with Royal and Ancient in the background.
