Himalayas Golf Course, St Andrews

This morning, we departed our lodgings in Pitlochry, central Scotland and embarked on a tour as follows:

  • First, a short shopping trip in Pitlochry.
  • Next, a drive up behind Pitlochry for landscape views and photographs.

  • Next, a one hour drive east to the city of Dundee where we visited various sites and locations associated with tour guests’ ancestors who left Dundee in the 19th century.

  • Next, a short drive to St Andrews where we had lunch at the Clubhouse restaurant overlooking the famous Old Course then photographs including at Swilken Bridge, and on to visit the castle at opposite end of town.

  • After concluding our visit to St Andrews we drove S.W.to Edinburgh Airport where guests checked into their hotel in readiness for return home tomorrow.
