Muthill Old Parish Church, Perth & Kinross, Scotland

This evening, I am posting information on Muthill Old Church near Crieff in central Scotland.

Muthill is a village the name of which is derived from the Gaelic word for soft (boggy), maoth.The name is pronounced ‘mew-hill’ and means ‘softening’.

Boat trip on Loch Lomond

This morning, I collected tour group from central Glasgow, Scotland and embarked on a Clan Colquhoun themed tour as follows:

First we stopped, for photographs, at the scenic spot of Ardochlay on the bank of Loch Lomond.

Kellie Castle, Fife, Scotland.

This evening, I am posting information on Kellie Castle and its gardens.

The castle is located about 5 km from Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife and thus fits nicely with the Fife Coast ‘tourist trail’ between Edinburgh and St. Andrews which includes St. Monans and Crail.
