View from Queen’s View, Trossachs

This evening, I am posting information on scenic views from vantage point Queen’s View in the Trossachs region of Scotland and not be confused with namesake near Pitlochry in Central Scotland. The Trossachs viewpoint is named after excursions undertaken by Queen Victoria who was very fond of Scotland.

Today, the Catswhiskers team achieved a long-held objective of visiting the Devil’s Pulpit in Finnich Glen.

Actual location is not signposted. It is close to the junction of A809 and B834 near the village of Killearn in the Stirling district and about sixteen miles NNW of Glasgow in the West of Scotland.

Princes Street, Edinburgh looking east from atop Scott Monument.

This evening, I am focusing on Princes Street in Edinburgh, Scotland which is one of Europe’s most celebrated streets. This street runs for about one mile on an east-west axis and acts as a dividing line between Edinburgh’s 18th century New Town and the old medieval sector which includes the Royal Mile.
