Shiloh, Owl at Dalhousie Castle Falconry, Scotland

This morning, we departed our lodgings at Edinburgh Airport and drove to the East Lothian region around Aberlady, which sits on the south coast of the Firth of Forth. This is a popular golfing location.

We  stopped first for photographs at Longniddry Bents which is known for its natural history then on to Aberlady and Aberlady Bay Nature Reserve.

Next to Dalhousie Castle where guest availed of a session flying owls at the Falconry Centre.

Next, to Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city. first we had lunch at the cafe associated with Palace of Holyroodhouse and then a sightseeing bus tour the route of which included the Old Town, Royal Mile and New Town.

Finally, we reconnected with the car and then back to the hotel where tour ended.
