Sheep on Arran

Today, we benefited from mild, dry weather with low wind, a far cry from the recent sub-hurricane.

We departed Glasgow, drove south to Ardrossan on the coast and caught an afternoon ferry to Brodick on Isle of Arran.

Arriving Brodick, Isle of Arran

On arrival at Brodick we embarked on a 35 minute drive to our lodgings at Kilmory on southern tip of Arran. Mosxt of the route was via a hilly, single-track road which afforded interesting scenic views of the island and seascapes.

Tomorrow, we plan to indulge in hiking local trails.
