Glenashdale Falls, Isle of Arran, Scotland

This evening, I am posting information on the spectacular waterfall on the Isle of Arran, Scotland known as Glenashdale Falls.

The Falls are accessed via a hiking trail, which follows the line of the Glenashdale Burn (stream), and runs directly west from a starting point at Ashdale Bridge at Whiting Bay on the S.E. coast of Arran. This is a fascinating hike which connects with various aspects of nature such as trees, fungi and flora as illustrated in this blog post. The trail can ultimately link the hiker with the early Neolithic site known as Giants’ Graves.
