This evening, I am posting information the Riverside Museum on the north bank of the River Clyde, about three miles west of Glasgow’s city centre, Scotland.This is the current location of the Glasgow Museum of Transport which comprises a wide collection of exhibits encompassing shipping, steam railway locomotives,vintage and veteran cars, motorcycles, tram cars, horse-drawn vehicles, bicycles and ancient dug-out boats.

The building was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and opened in 2011.

Entrance is free and refreshment facilities are available.

This museum is on the route of the Glasgow sightseeing tour bus.
