Today, we travelled from Glasgow to Gourock then to Dunoon by ferry and on to Glen Massan in the Cowal Peninsula. Here we availed of swimming in the River Eachaig then back to Dunoon via Kilmun and Holy Loch.

Craigellachie Bridge spans the River Spey in the Scottish Highlands. Designed by Thomas Telford and built at cost of GBP8300.00. Oldest surviving cast iron bridge in Scotland. No longer used for motor traffic.

Today, from our base at Aberdeen, we visited Glenfiddich and Glen Grant distilleries with a picnic lunch at Craigellachie on banks of River Spey.
