Today, at Greenbank House garden, I was presented with a wide array of colourful flowers spanning a spectrum comprising pink, cream, purple, white, copper, blue, violet and scarlet. Despite being late season I found the display (depth and range) superior to that usually available during the summer period with added dimension of the harsh and angled sunlight.



Daffodil-Arctic Gold

This evening, I am posting images of colourful Spring flowers taken at Greenbank Garden, Glasgow, Scotland. This garden has changed little since it was established in the 17th century. The property is owned by Scotland’s National Trust with the garden open to the public throughout the year, thus there is always something to appreciate.

Narcissus at Greenbank

This morning, I visited Greenbank Garden, south of Glasgow to photograph emerging signs of Spring.

Weather was just above freezing which resulted in thin layers of ice on water and a crisp feel underfoot.
