Glenlee at Riverside Museum, Glasgow, Scotland

This morning, I collected guests from Glasgow Airport and then embarked on a tour as follows:

First to Glasgow’s medieval Cathedral which dates from the 13th century, albeit on a Christian site which dates from around the 6th century. We were escorted around the building by an excellent Cathedral guide.

This evening, I am reporting on today’s small group hike over a six mile route through Strathclyde Country Park within the valley of the River Clyde, S.W. Scotland.Specific sites included Baron’s Haugh and Dalzell Estate

Spring Garden at Oban, Scotland

Today was characterised by much improved weather with temperatures up and little rain.

We departed our lodgings in Oban and then drove up to McCaig’s Tower for a high elevation view over Oban Harbour with views of Mull in the distance.
