Today, we transferred from Kyleakin on Isle of Skye to Glasgow Airport via Armadale, Mallaig, Glenfinnan, Fort William and Glencoe.

Glenfinnan is a popular tourist destination known for (a) the Glenfinnan Viaduct ( aka Harry Potter Bridge), landing place of Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745 and regular crossings of the viaduct by the Jacobite Express (aka Harry Potter Train). The Viaduct is the world’s first such structure built of concrete.

This morning, we departed Kyleakin, Skye and embarked on a trip to Luss, Loch Lomond. Journey entailed a ferry crossing to Mallaig then, Glenfinnan, Fort William and Glencoe.
