Scottish Fisheries Museum, Anstruther.

This evening, I am posting information on the Scottish Fisheries Museum in Anstruther, Fife.

Anstruther is about fifty miles N.E. of Edinburgh.

This museum is an excellent and well presented facility which allows visitors to connect with the fishing industry which has a long tradition in Scotland although now only a shadow of its former self.

Whitewater Slalom Paddling at Grandtully, Scotland

This morning, we departed our lodgings in Inverness in the Scottish Highlands and drove south for a couple of hours stopping for a break and refreshments at the House of Bruar shopping mall near Blair Atholl. Here we encountered a small group of West Highland Terriers (“Westies”).

Eilean Donan Castle, Dornie, Scotland

This morning, we departed our lodgings at Kyleakin on Isle of Skye and travelled to Inverness and in so doing visited sites spanning 4000 years of Scottish history with bonus of majestic Highlands scenery including Loch Ness.
