This evening, I am posting information on today’s private tour of the Isle of Skye off the west coast of Scotland.

This morning, we departed our lodgings in Kyle of Lochalsh, headed west over the Skye Bridge and proceeded as follows:

This morning, we departed our lodgings in Fort William and drove west, stopping first at Glenfinnan where we just caught a glimpse of the Jacobite Express Steam Train crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct. At Glenfinnan we stopped to admire the views including Loch Schiel and the Glenfinnan Monument. It was at Glenfinnan that Bonnie Prince Charlie landed in 1745 in his ultimately doomed attempt to win the thrones of England and Scotland by force.
