McCaig’s Tower at Oban, Scotland was financed and designed by John Stuart McCaig, a wealthy, late 19th century banker. This unfinished structure is modelled on the Colosseum in Rome and has a circumference 200 metres which includes 94 arches.

Today, we departed Glasgow and drove to Oban via Luss and Loch Lomond. At Oban guests visited the distillery and we then drove to nearby Dunollie Castle which is connected with Clan McGregor. Later we connected with the ferry to Craignure, Isle of Mull upon arrival at which we visited Tobermory and then back to our hotel at Craignure.
