Today, benefiting from an unusual combination of dry, sunny weather and winter sunlight I undertook a tour of key sites in Perthshire, central Scotland visiting Dunkeld, Ossian’s Hall, Falls of Braan,Dalguise, Aberfeldy, Loch Tay and Killin. The low angle, direct sunlight provided a special dimension to the photography, especially with snow reflecting on the mountain tops.

Ossian’s Hall at Falls of Braan, Dunkeld, Scotland.

The waterfall of the Braan at the Hermitage is the great attraction to some 200,000 visitors each year . It has been described as one of the most ingenious and pleasurable ornaments to rural scenery that can be beheld.
