This evening, I am posting information on the popular tourist village of Killin which sits close to the southern tip of Loch Tay in central Scotland, about sixty five miles north of Glasgow.

This morning, we departed our lodgings in Inverness in the Scottish Highlands and drove south for a couple of hours stopping for a break and refreshments at the House of Bruar shopping mall near Blair Atholl. Here we encountered a small group of West Highland Terriers (“Westies”).

Today marked an adverse change in weather.

We departed our Dunkeld lodgings for Amulree and then embarked on a drive through Glen Quaich but heavy fog resulted in negligible visibility despite which we were able to observe a number of unusual birds: Quail, Red Grouse, Pheasant and a Hawk (or similar bird of prey).
