Loch Tay (north) from Kenmore

This evening, I am posting information on the Loch Tay area in Perthshire, central Scotland.

This Loch lies at an approximately 45 degree angle with Killin at south and Kenmore, near Aberfeldy at northern end.Kenmore is about seventy-seven miles north of Glasgow.

Snow Plough at work

This morning I ventured out in a heavy snowstorm. As will be evident from images, roads were affected. Glasgow Airport was closed for a short while. However, the conditions provided some useful photo opportunities, with some families taking the opportunity for sledging. These conditions are relatively infrequent.

Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond, Scotland

This evening, I am focusing on Loch Lomond, one of Scotland’s top visitor attractions.

Loch Lomond is the largest expanse of freshwater in Great Britain. It is the centrepiece of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and is surrounded by mountainous landscapes including Ben Lomond.
