Inveraray, Argyll, Scotland

This evening, I am posting information on the town of Inveraray (population 650) in S.W. Scotland, about sixty-five miles N.W.of Glasgow.

Although an interesting destination in its own right, Inveraray provides a good stopping point in trips to/fromĀ Oban, Campeltown and Kennacraig ferry terminal (Islay).

Hiking through the South Lanarkshire landscape.

This evening, I am posting information on today’s small group hike along a linear route following the River Avon from its confluence with the River Clyde, into Chatelherault Country Park, then high above the river and on down to Millheugh Bridge finishing at Larkhall Railway Station.
