Tonight I am posting posting information on a recent (June 9th and 10th) small group hike along the line of Hadrian’s Wall in northern England where the village of Chollerford, near Chesters Roman Fort,  was used as a base.

This evening, I am reporting on today’s hike which covered about eight miles between Priestland and Galston in East Ayrshire, about twenty-three miles south of Glasgow in the West of Scotland.

Hiking Group on Great Cumbrae.

This evening, I am posting images consequent upon today’s small group hiking trip to Great Cumbrae, an island in the Firth of Clyde off the West Coast of Scotland. The route covered about eight miles.
